This page explains what information Forge Elite Hoops ("we," "us") collects through forgeelitehoops.com, why we collect it, and who we share it with. We keep it in plain language, and we only collect what we need to run our programs and keep players safe.

What we collect

• Registrations. When you register a player for a camp, clinic, league, tryout or training, we collect the player's name, date of birth and grade, the parent or guardian's name, email and phone, an emergency contact, and anything you choose to tell us in the notes box, such as allergies or medical needs. We also record whether you gave photo and video permission.
• Men's league teams. For team registration we collect the team name and the captain's name, email and phone.
• Waivers. Waivers are signed through Smartwaiver, which collects the information on the waiver form (including medical and emergency information and signatures) and stores it for us.
• Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares the name, email, phone, amount paid and what was purchased with us so we can match the payment to your registration or order.
• Apparel orders. When you order from our shop, we keep the items, sizes and quantities you picked, the name on the order, your email and phone, and your shipping address if you choose shipping.
• Information saved in your browser. Our shop saves your cart on your own device so it is still there if you leave the page, and the site remembers which announcements you have already closed. This stays in your browser and is not sent to us until you check out. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics.
• Basic technical information. Like nearly every website, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

• To run our programs: rosters, team placement, schedules and check-in.
• To contact you about the program you signed up for, including schedule changes, weather updates and when apparel is ready.
• To keep players safe, including reaching your emergency contact and sharing medical notes with coaches who need to know.
• To take payments, fill apparel orders and answer your questions.
• To protect the site from spam and abuse.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Photos and video

We only use photos or video of a player on our website or social media if a parent or guardian gave permission on the registration form or waiver. You can change your answer at any time by contacting us.

Who we share it with

Your information is seen by Forge Elite coaches and staff who need it to run the program. It is also handled by the services that run our site and programs, each under its own privacy policy:

• Netlify, which hosts this website and delivers registration forms to us
• Google, where our staff keeps registration and order records (Google Sheets) and which provides the fonts on this site
• Stripe, which processes payments
• Smartwaiver, which collects and stores signed waivers

We may also share information if the law requires it or to protect someone's safety.

Children's information

Many of our players are kids. Registrations and waivers for players under 18 must be completed by a parent or guardian, not by the player. Children under 13 should not send us information through this site. If we learn that a child under 13 sent us information without a parent, we will delete it. Parents can ask to see, correct or delete their child's information at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep registration and order information for as long as we need it to run the season and keep accurate records. Payment and waiver records may be kept longer when the law or our insurance requires it. After that, we delete it.

How we protect it

This site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), payment details go straight to Stripe, and only staff who need registration records can see them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you or your player, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email or call us using the contact information below.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top first.
